Their Story

Founded in 2002 by sisters Lysa and Nancy Macri, Malyna (a blend of their names: MAcri, LYsa, NAncy) began as a passion project to create and distribute healthy snacks. Their entrepreneurial journey was influenced by their involvement in the family business, Hydro Culture, specializing in sprouting.

In 2005, the sisters took over Hydro Culture, balancing both ventures. In 2018, Nancy pursued new projects, leaving Lysa to lead Malyna. By 2023, Lysa fully dedicated herself to Malyna, establishing a new, state-of-the-art facility capable of producing millions of snacks automatically.

Mission and Values

Malyna is committed to providing nut-free, school-safe snacks and budget-friendly healthy snacks for all ages. Their products align with healthy snack options for work, gluten-free snack subscriptions, and healthy snack delivery services like Joy of Snacks. Their core values include:
